Favorite Makeup For Pale/Fair Skin

In this post I am going to share my tried and true favorite makeup products for pale/fair skin, from one 'pale princess' to another.

Since using a white foundation mixer, my makeup routine has been changed forever. I would highly recommend foundation mixers for anyone who cannot seem to find their shade in most foundation lines. My personal favorite is the L.A. GIRL foundation mixer in white. It is definitely a medium to full coverage formula, but is still hydrating enough that it does not cake up on my dry skin. So far this mixer has worked well with every foundation I have paired it with, and now I have a way to use up all the foundations I have bought that are two shades too dark.

This contour shade has quickly become my holy grail, it is an amazing color and undertone for my fair cool toned skin and looks very natural. The formula is pigmented long wearing, so I know it will last a long time. In the past my go to contour color was NYX Cosmetics Blush in taupe, but faun by Anastasia has quickly replaced it. I would still recommend the NYX blush as a cheaper alternative, since as of recently you can only find the Anastasia contour powder in the light to medium contour kit.

My all time favorite concealer is the NYX Hi Definition Concealer in the shade alabaster. This exact shade is more of a recent favorite, since until recently the lightest shade that NYX offered was porcelain, which was too dark for me. I am very glad that NYX released a lighter shade in this line because this formula is amazing, I could see it working for almost any skin type. It gives pretty good coverage without looking cakey, and the shade is actually light enough to give me a little bit of a highlight for my undereyes.

I believe that a must have for pale skin is white setting powder, my favorite being the All About Matt setting powder by Essence. For pale and fair skin I recommend staying away from any tinted setting powders, like banana powders, since in my experience they tend to be too dark. Instead I use white setting powders to set my makeup and highlight wherever I put concealer to give myself a brightening effect.

I could go on forever about my favorite highlighters, and could probably make an entire post about the best highlighters for fair skin, but my favorite highlighter of all time is NYX's illuminator in the shade ritualistic. This highlighter has been a long time favorite, and is one of the first highlighters I ever bought. It is definitely not the most blinding highlighter, but instead it gives more of a natural golden glow. If you have been looking for a gold highlight that actually compliments fair skin, I would highly recommend this one.

Lastly, my favorite blush for fair and pale skin is the Too Faced Love Flush blush in the shade baby love. Blush color is something that completely depends on your personal taste, but as a lover of nude and peachy blushes this one is perfect. Besides the cute packaging, this blush is extremely long lasting, according to Too Faced it lasts up to 16-hours. Regardless of what shade, if you are in the market for a new blush I would recommend picking up one from the Love Flush line.
