February 2018 Monthly Favorites

As February comes to a close, I want to share some of my beauty, podcast, and music favorites from this month!
This face cleanser if my top favorite of this month. As someone with dry skin, the winter months are the worst, but this face cleanser has saved my skin this season. It is super hydrating and gentle on the skin, it feels almost like a lotion. Despite its feel, it does a great job cleaning leftover makeup. This has easily become my new favorite daily face wash.
I had heard a lot about this foundation last year through beauty channels on youtube, but for some reason I never tried it. I think one thing that set me off from this foundation is youtubers mentioning the smell, which many compared to paint. After trying it for myself I can say that the scent is real and is off putting, but it fades almost immediately after applying it. The shade range is great for a drugstore foundation and the price is even better, overall this is a great foundation!
At the beginning of this month I was in the market for a new setting spray. I had seen the e.l.f mist and set in stores before, but didn't try it until now. This setting spray is not specifically for dry skin, but it does make my face look less dry and powdery. I ended up liking it more than the setting spray I was using before, and it is extremely affordable!
This favorite is a little out of left field, but it is still a favorite nonetheless. At the beginning of this month I found the 'And That's Why We Drink' podcast through spotify and immediately fell in love. This podcast features two hosts, Christine Schiefer and Em Schulz, who talk about paranormal and true crime stories. After finishing the podcast In the Dark, I was on the lookout for a new crime podcast, and this one has now become my all time favorite.
Lastly, an album I haven't been able to stop listening to is 'Nation of Two' by Vance Joy. This album released a little late this month, coming out on the 23rd, but has been on repeat for me ever since. A song I would recommend to listen to first from this album is We're Going Home.
